biological activity	Licochalcone D (Lico D, LCD, LD) is a flavonoid isolated from the Chinese herbal medicine licorice Glycyrrhiza inflata, which has antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and anti-cancer properties. Licochalcone D can inhibit phosphorylation of NF-κB p65 in LPS signaling pathway. Licochalcone D can inhibit JAK2, EGFR and Met (c-Met) activities and induce ROS-dependent apoptosis. Licochalcone D can also induce activation of caspases and cleavage of poly (ADP-ribose) polymerase (PARP).
